Main features These valves represent the capability of AST to develop special valves for customer needs.Supplementary Loaded Safety Relief Valves (SLSV)This is a standard safety valve equipped with a secondary spring and a double acting pneumatic piston controlled by a redundant system.This valve may be used when the difference between set pressure and operating pressure is less than 10%; in this case the leakage through the seats is greatly reduced or eliminated. Blowdown can also be controlled and kept between 3 and 4%.
