Efficiency Coupling / uncoupling during continuous operations under full system pressure of up to 630 bar / 9137 PSI (depending on the coupling type) No need for a lengthy run-down or shut-down of the system Can be connected by hand i.e. without any tools or special training needed Materials Sealing of NBR (Buna-N®) or optionally in FKM (Viton®) or also EPDM; inside seals in FKM (Viton®) as a standard feature Standard steel test couplings Stainless steel V2A (1.4305 or AISI 303) and V4A (1.4571 or AISI 316 Ti) available on request Variability Pressure and temperature monitoring and control, venting and obtaining of representative fluid samples possible with just one coupling version Conformity with ISO 15171-2 and fully compatible with competitor products with slotted hose nipple (for SMK types) Wear Resistance Improved wear resistance and stability due to high plastic deformability of the zinc/nickel surface Resistance to all the usual pressure fluids Operational Safety Up to 3,000,000 load cycles in the impulse test (requirements of ISO 19879: 1,000,000 load cycles) Multi-part design with threaded nipple (less of a hazard potential than with crimping) No automatic releasing of the metal protective cap from vibrations in the system thanks to a vibration-securing O-ring Special design ensures secure, loss-free sealing of the connection before valve opening Wide Variety All the usual thread and sealing types available Knurled caps as standard Hexagon and plastic caps available on request Application-specific types such as natural gas versions with DVGW specification as well as gas and fill versions (for SKK types) available (Fill version only for gas uses)
